An amazing personal course, pretty lifechanging in terms of how to deliver an effective talk/presentation. As someone with ADHD, I struggle to be concise, and knowing that means I often lack confidence in my delivery. Before the programme I had already had some ideas about what I was going to do and what the presentation would be like. However, after the programme, I now feel that I can present the information in a much more structured and engaging way that will get my message across much more effectively.
I personally found the whole experience really enlightening. My experience has been largely formed on the back of technical conferences presenting research findings to scientific communities. I wanted to say thanks so much for sending Belinda our way to help with the presentation delivery. The two sessions we had were totally invaluable and we not only had the opportunity to develop our presentation skills, but weā€™ve also completely overhauled the script making it shorter, clearer and as a result making us more confident in delivering it.
Without doubt I would recommend this programme for anyone who has face to face meetings online and needs to present with style and impact. The programme really encourages you to think about your audience and covers everything from the set up of your surroundings, compilation of slide decks, annunication, getting your message across, communication, audience engagement and participation, the journey and the destination for your presentation. The roadmap is a genius idea to use as a template for any presentation you need to put together. Overall a hugely useful course which has given me oodles of confidence!
I really enjoyed Walk the Talk – after 3 years of internal talent programmes, this has been the singularly most valuable course I’ve undertaken and I’d recommend it to anyone.
